Variety: The Spice of Life!

This term Year 11 and 12 Trade students will be embarking on a new unit of work - Variety: The Spice of Life. Student will be exploring the concept of biodiversity - the variety of plants and animals in an ecosystem. This will be a dynamic term for the Trade students as the unit involves the heavy integration of ICT's (we have already launched our class wiki) along with an emphasis on fieldwork. Guest speakers will provide students with unique perspectives on biodiversity, and these visits give students the opportunity to engage with people beyond the classroom. I am looking forward to a constructive, productive semester of work (not to mention a fun and engaging one!).
