Year 12 B and Trade students were working on the Occupational Health and Safety competency for their Certificate I in Work Education course in Term 1. The students have worked very hard to complete all their worksheets and their assignment.
The assignment required them to make a PowerPoint presentation of five slides on a form of hazard in the workplace eg, electrical hazard, biological hazard. As well as Miss Cate and Miss Linda casting a keen eye over the completed tasks, the students performed self assessment and peer assessment.
All but three students have now been deemed competent. These students will be given time at the end of Term 2 to complete any work that is not yet completed so that they too can be signed off for this competency.
So a hearty "CONGRATULATIONS" goes to Ronald Morseu, Lena Wosomo, Michael Geas, Stella Dau, Mark Akiba, Louisa Joe, Juniko Kepa, Tiaella Nona, Brittany Stallwood, Jacob Lui, Peter Giblet, April Mosby, Joel Dangar, Juan Murgha, John Dau, Harry Kepple, Alan Piva, Natalie Morseu, Brian Fourmile, Charlie David and Jordal Bana.
