Below are some photos of formal production from our Clothing Department. Congratulations to Lane, Juniko, April and Maluka for making their own graduation gowns but you will have to wait until the formal to get the close up shots!

Clothing Production News 27/08/10

Since the beginning of this term April has shown a high level of motivation in Clothing Production. She has worked industriously and tirelessly. Her target was to produce her own graduation gown. She did everything possible to finish her gown in time. This includes staying behind after school, paying attention to detail, and of course, following all the teacher’s instructions. Today she is obviously proud of her production. She shows off to her friends about her talent in this course. She cannot wait until she wears it on the formal night. Lane Ingui has also produced a magnificent purple gown but you will have to wait and see both girls on the night!

Lane finishes her Cert II

Congratulations to Lane Ingui in Grade 12 as she has successfully completed her Certificate II in Clothing Production on the 5th of October 2010. Well done for all your hard work.

Potentially other students like Juniko and Tala may complete before the end of year through a crash program, if they attend regularly.

Clothing Production News 27/08/10

Philemona Fauid in TAVE (13) has produced a magnificent short overall in denim fabric. She deliberately matched it with yellow embroidery thread giving it a sharp contrast. She is one person who always pays attention to detail. She applies a high level of quality standard to all her production. She is willing to take orders of a similar production from her peers. Well done Mona!


Lane Ingui (12)

Once again Lane has professionally made a fabulous red and white overall. It suits her perfectly. She cannot wait to wear it for shopping or to the beaches. Her next project is to making her graduation gown. Keep it up Lane!

CLOTHING PRODUCTION TERM 2

Mary David has made a lovely formal dress. She cannot wait to show off in it in the coming shows. Lane Ingui has also made an army daywear overall. Her peers love it. There has been some good work from other students like Junioko, Maluka and Roselyn who are still working their garments.





There has been a lot significant achievement in Clothing Production this term. Some students have demonstrated some high level skills in the use of sewing machines. Top left is Sana Solomon who has made a party dress. She is ready to model it in the coming shows. Top right is April Mosby who has made a cultural costume. She is happy to wear it church.
